Область перед и за объектом, находящимся в фокусе, которая на экране выглядит резко. Глубина резкости возрастает с уменьшением фокусного расстояния, то есть чем меньше фокусное расстояние, тем больше глубина резкости. Глубина резкости всегда больше за объектом, находящимся в фокусе.

Расстояние в пространстве предметов вдоль оптической оси съемочного фотографического объектива, в пределах которого нерезкость изображений, создаваемых съемочным фотографическим объективом различно удаленных предметов, не превышает допустимого кружка нерезкости.

глубина резкости объектива
Показывает, какая часть поля зрения находится в фокусе, т.е. глубиной резкости называется расстояние от самого ближнею до самого дальнего предмета, которые изображаются приемлемо сфокусированными. Большая глубина резкости означает, что в фокусе находится протяженная часть поля зрения. Малая же глубина резкости позволяет наблюдать в фокусе лишь небольшой фрагмент глубины поля зрения. На глубину зрения влияют определенные факторы. Так, объективы с широким углом зрения обеспечивают, как правило, большую глубину резкости. Высокий показатель апертурного числа свидетельствует также о большей глубине резкости. Внимательно надо относиться к глубине резкости при работе с объективами с автоматической диафрагмой, так как при автоматическом изменении диафрагмы автоматически изменяется и глубина резкости. Например, ночью, когда диафрагма полностью открыта глубина резкости будет наименьшей (поэтому объекты, находившиеся в фокусе в дневное время, ночью могут оказаться не в фокусе).
